Legacy Christian Academy is committed to maintain the framework of Biblical principles and high educational standards. The Advisory Council will manifest by precept and example the highest Christian virtue and personal decorum, setting the spiritual tone for the school. The primary function and responsibility of the Advisory Council will be in providing oversight for the school’s business affairs. These responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Establish effective governance: Ensuring that people and processes for orderly, effective decision making are in place.
- Provide advice and sound counsel to Academy Administration: Serving as a trusted confident and resource to provide clear thinking on topics the leadership encounters.
- Support Christian education in the community: Setting the spiritual tone for the school and embodiment of Christian leader principles in actions, words and decisions.
- Enhance relationships with constituents: Active participation and support of school functions that engage students, parents, staff, and community.
- Develop, monitor and improve school goals, policy and strategy: Evaluate the performance measurements to ensure they are meaningful and aligned with the overall school’s strategic plan and mission.
