It’s not just a subject in school. For these dedicated students, and their teacher and director Kristy Winkes, it’s a life philosophy. We should all strive to serve the Lord our God with the talents He has given us, and the LCA Drama Department does that through acting and performance. Each show, whether it be the high-flying romp and excess of Guys and Dolls, to the intensely human introspection of Rebel Without a Cause, is presented in such a way that the moral struggles of the characters are presented plainly and without sugarcoating. The characters in our productions deal with real-life issues, and we strive to portray them with dignity while upholding the Christian integrity for which our school is known.
