Lions Hockey Team Makes History

News Update:  Legacy Lions win their first home ice section game Tuesday evening with a score of 4-0 against North Branch.  The Lions will play the #2 seed Rogers.   Come support the Lions Hockey Team on Thursday Feb 23rd in Rogers.  Can I get ROAR!!!

The Legacy Lions hockey team began as a JV team in the 2007/2008 school year. Four years later, they have been seeded with their first home ice section game. Join the Lions Tuesday, February 21st as they take on North Branch at 7:00 at Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine for the first round of Section 5A play. The winner of this game will play at #2 seed Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23rd.

Boys and Girls Cross Country

The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams ran well to represent LCA at our Conference meet on Tuesday, Oct 11th, finishing with 3 All-Conference runners (Marissa Kuik – 8th grade, Emily Nelson – Sophomore,  Peter Clausen – Senior) and 2 Honorable Mention (Sierra Batalden – Senior, Josh Davie – Senior).  Our Boys team finished in 5th place.  Congratulations Cross Country for a job well done!

Girls Primed to Enter Section Play at Home, Oct 11

The Girls Soccer Team is excited to have a home game for the first round of section play on Tuesday, Oct 11th.  The Lady Lions will play host to PACT/Spectrum and is set to get under way at 4:00 PM on the north soccer field.

The girls are lead by All-Conference Emily Kirby (Junior) and All-Conference Honorable Mention Jolene Daninger (7th grade).  This will be a re-match between the two teams, which saw Legacy edge PACT/Spectrum 3-0.  Go Lady Lions!
