2nd Annual Ice Cream Social

The 2nd Annual All-School Ice Cream Social and Creative Exhibition was held Monday, April 23. Families experienced a bouncehouse, contests, bingo, games, ICE CREAM and a special dance performance by the cast of Grease, as well as opportunities to bid on wonderful handmade and other creative items from our talented staff at LCA. A special thank you to everyone who bid and purchased these handmade, creative items; more than $1700 was raised to support the faculty in their professional development activities.

A huge thank you to the Legacy Parent Connection and the many volunteers for coordinating a spectacular evening and to Cold Stone Creamery for the delicious ice cream.

Student Council Announcements – 2/28/2012

Hello everybody! Here are your weekly announcements…(yay!)

1) The third annual LCA Swing Dance is THIS FRIDAY! Ninth through twelfth graders come at 6:00 for a lesson, and the dance starts at 7:00. Our awesome Jazz Band will be playing, and there will be games going on as well, so if you don’t like to dance there is no excuse not to come. There will be food, fun, and dancing! Admission is $4.00 and remember, you DO NOT need a date to come!

2) The girls basketball team has their first round section game on Thursday at HOME! Come at 7:00 and cheer them on as they play CHOF.

Good morning everybody! Here are your weekly announcements:

1) Next Friday, March 2, is the third annual LCA Swing Dance. Ninth through twelfth graders – come for a night of dancing, food, games and fun! Admission is $4.00, lessons start at 6:00 and the actual dance starts at 7:00! Remember – you do not need a date to come! Come with a bunch of friends or just by yourself!

2) Peer tutors are still needed! Talk to Mrs. Christian if you are interested.

3) Here is this week’s game schedule – oh, and remember to congratulate the boy’s hockey team on their great section win on Tuesday!

Good afternoon everybody! Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are your weekly announcements:

1) Remember that Friday, March 2 is the third annual LCA Swing Dance! 9-12 graders come for a night of food, fun, and dancing! Lessons are at 6:00, and the dance starts at 7:00! There will also be a game area outside the gym, and do remember that this is not one of those “date dances.” You do not need a date to come!
