There is no question that being involved in service is an important part of life at Legacy. We encourage students to serve, provide opportunities through secondary Homerooms to serve together, and do service projects in elementary classrooms.
On Friday October 12, 2012 students set out to do many different and wonderful things to service others. Part of the value of service learning is the learning part of the day. Why are these people in need of our service? What system changes need to take place to eliminate this need? How do we serve humbly? Having the ability to serve is a gift from God and we want our students to gratefully accept that gift and serve others.
