All winter athletes in grades 8-12 and their parents should plan to attend our Winter Sports Information Night, Monday, October 26 at 7:00 pm. Please be sure that you have completed ONLINE REGISTRATION beforehand and have an up-to-date physical on file in the Health Office. (Sports physicals are valid for three years from the date of exam.) All sports fees will also be due at this time if you did not pay via credit card when you registered. Practice and game schedules are available on the athletic calendar for viewing or synching with your personal calendar.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Our Boys Basketball program will be led by Varsity Coach JP Lindgren. We expect to have three high school teams composed of students in 8th-12th grade and MS teams at each grade level for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. Our high school teams will see approximately 26 regular season contests in our competitive conference, MCAA. The MS teams will most likely compete in MYAS Super Saver Saturday tournaments November-March, but the Athletic Department is also researching other competitive options.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Varsity Head Coach Kyle Ague will lead the Girls program for the first time this season. We expect to have two high school teams composed of students in 8th-12th grade and MS teams at each grade level for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. Our high school teams will see approximately 26 regular season contests in our competitive conference, MCAA. The MS teams will most likely compete in MYAS Super Saver Saturday tournaments November-March, but the Athletic Department is also researching other competitive options.

BOYS HOCKEY

Our Boys Hockey program will be led by Varsity Coach Steve Larson. We expect to have two high school teams composed of students in 7th-12th grade from Legacy, Concordia Academy, PACT Charter, and Spectrum Charter. The Legacy Lions are blessed to call Rink #5 at the Schwan Super Rink their home ice again this season and are scheduled to play 25 regular season contests in the competitive Two Rivers Conference.

Co-op Opportunities exist for Girls Hockey (9th-12th grade) and Boys Swim & Dive (7th-12th grade) at Andover High School. Registration is available through our online registration or you may contact the Andover Activities Office at 763.506.8409.
