Rachel Gray ’12 is a member of the Concordia University Women’s Golf team. Rachel tied for 10th place at the¬†Super Region 3 Championships at Awarii Dunes Golf Course hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She¬†finished +7 (223) with rounds of 75-75 and 73 marking her best of the tournament.

Gray becomes the third player in Concordia’s program history to advance to the Division II Championships twice in her career, but the first to do so strictly as an individual.

Ranked 93rd in the country as an individual entering regionals, Gray will head to Aurora, Colorado to take part in the Division II Championship Festival. The Division II Women’s Golf Championships will be held at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colorado from May 18-21. The event will be a four round (72 hole) competition co-hosted by Metropolitan State University Denver and the Denver Sports Commission.

Gray placed sixth in the Division II Championship Preview hosted by Metro State on September 28-29, putting together +1 golf with rounds of 72-73 (145) in a field that including 20 of the top teams in the country with 100 individual competitors.
