Legacy celebrated graduations at 3 different levels in 2016 – PreK, 4th Grade, and High School. Our students have accomplished much and we honor them for all they’ve learned.
PreK – 30 graduates
PreK students took to the Meadow Creek Church stage to receive their “diploma!” It was a fun night for all involved as the students opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, sang the books of the Bible and shared what they want to be when they grow up. We have been delighted to share this past year with these young learners and are eager to watch them grow into young adults.
Congrats to the LCA class of 2029!
4th Grade – 24 graduates
The 4th grade students were honored during a weekly chapel time for all the hard work they’ve put into graduating from elementary school. It was a way to commemorate their time so far here at Legacy and to commission them on their journey into middle school. Mr. Nydam honored the 4th grade students encouraging them to have faith and courage, not fear, as they transition. A few 4th grade students gave commencement speeches and then all the 4th grade students received a diploma.
Congrats to the LCA class of 2024!
High School – 45 graduates
High school graduation is always a special time at LCA. The Class of 2016 was offered over $1.5 million dollars in scholarships, and some of those scholarships were awarded at the ceremony. Some seniors are given the opportunity to share reflections of their time at Legacy; some are humorous, some are thought-provoking, but all help get a glimpse into their time of being a student at LCA.
Mrs. Jody Shank, who has been teaching at Meadow Creek/Legacy since 1984, challenged us to cherish each stage of our lives. God brings people and circumstances, even difficult ones, into our lives to form us into the person He designed us to be. As we go through each stage of our life, we need to look for the blessings in our life. The real blessings are the people God brings into our lives, not the material things we own, therefore we should focus on investing in those people.
Congrats to the Class of 2016!
