The kindergarten classes celebrated being 100 days smarter on Friday, January 27! We enjoyed finally meeting Zero the Hero. He has been leaving treats for us in our classrooms every tenth day. He had lots of interesting ways to count to 100 by tens and ones with his French accent! He left the class DONUTS which are shaped like a zero. (He looked mysteriously like Mr. Nydam!)

Everyone loved the 100 Day Parade. The kindergarten students got to parade through the whole school as all the upper grade students cheered for them. “Yay! You are 100 days smarter!”┬áIt was fun to fill our snack bags with 10 of each different snack item making 100 tiny snacks in all. We also engaged in hands-on learning activities using cooperation and respectfulness.
