Artwork by 24 K-12th grade Legacy  students is on display at the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley! The 2017 Student Art Show opened on February 11 and can be viewed through March 4. Admission to the show is free and the public is welcome. The galleries are open 10:00 am-4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday, with a reception to celebrate the exhibit on February 18 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm.

A few samples from across the K-12 art curriculum were chosen for the display to showcase a range of mediums and techniques that are being taught. Ms. Buchelt (PreK-8th grade Art) and Mr. Anderson (9th-12th grade Art) also wanted to take the opportunity to showcase several of our students’ strong visual art talents to the community outside of the school.  All 24 students will be receiving a participation certificate and ribbon. Congratulations, students!
