The Legacy Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Jason Budish ‘09 as the Lions Head Boys Soccer Coach. An Alumnus of MCCS/LCA, Coach Budish has been on the coaching staff at Crown College, CC United Club Soccer and most recently spent five years on staff at Southwest Christian High School. As a former 2-time All-Conference high school and collegiate athlete, Coach Budish is thrilled to share his passion and enjoyment of the game at his Alma Mater. He aspires to grow and lead the program in pursuit of exceeding its potential. Coach Budish shared, “To be able to do this in the program that I was a part of as a student athlete and where I continued to grow my passion is something that is very special.”

Coach Budish recognizes and appreciates Legacy’s vision for enriching and equipping students to become the best version of themselves; continually growing and seeking who God has created them to be. “This vision is shared as a group effort among the Legacy community and it is really an awesome environment to be a part of.”

When not coaching, Jason is both a business owner and a family man. He resides in Elk River with his wife Kaitlin and two young children.

Coach Budish brings a highly competitive spirit to the Boys Soccer program, along with a drive to positively impact the lives of athletes. Please join us in welcoming Coach Jason Budish back to the Lions field in his new role as Head Boys Soccer Coach!
