The goal of U{Nite} Out is to bring together the 9th-12th grade student body under the name of Jesus Christ by providing an environment for fellowship, fun activities, and community-building events. Our goal with each event is to bless our world and enrich our community.

Previous activities have included:

  • Back to School Bonfire – This welcome back event happens at the beginning of the school year. This is hosted at a student’s home. Gaga ball, soccer, bean bag toss, and other games are offered. This is an opportunity for students to fellowship with old friends and new students. S’mores and other snacks are offered. This event is well-loved!
  • Broomball – Hockey with brooms on ice, without hockey sticks, skates, and pucks. It is a great afternoon of fun, friends, and yummy food! We have a warming area for teams that are not in a game.
  • Caroling – A few days before Christmas break, and typically after the badminton tournament, a group of students go around the neighborhoods surrounding the school, caroling to each house. We will give a card with a short synopsis of the Christmas story along with a candy cane. Afterwards, we gather in the Sports Center Lobby for hot chocolate and treats.
  • Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag – On this evening, we turn off the lights in the school. Each team is determined by their color of glowstick. We play a few games of capture the flag and we finish with a time of snacks at the end.
