Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year!

We are busy confirming schedules, teaching assignments, class rosters, and more, which will be announced on Friday, August 7!

Our annual back-to-school mailing will be delivered to your home by August 7. It contains A LOT of important information as we jump into the 2026-27 school year. All of that information will also be posted here as it gets confirmed.

All school supplies for PreK-4 are included in tuition and will be available for students to unpack and sort at the PreK, Elementary, & Middle School Open House on Monday, August 24.

Back2School Checklist - 2026

Website Browser Instructions for the FACTS Family Portal 

Everything in the FACTS Family Portal can also be accessed directly through the app. Download in your App Store today!

  • Log in to FACTS Family Portal through a non-mobile web browser by visiting factsmgt.com and logging in with district code LC-MN followed by your username and password. 
  • Find the following under School > Web Forms:
    • PreK-4 Aftercare Enrollment (first-time enrollments only) 
    • Student Driver Vehicle Permit Request
    • Student Health Meeting Request 
      • Sign up for a Student Health Meeting if there is:
        • A medical that diagnosis requires medication
        • A medical condition that could potentially be life threatening
        • A new medical diagnosis
        • An updated medical condition/diagnosis
        • Allergies (food or environmental)
        • Daily medication that will be administered while in school
    •  PreK-4th Grade Open House Sign Up 
    • Required PreK Forms
    • Student Absence Reporting (as needed throughout the year)
  • Review Family and Student Information under the following: 
    • Family > Family Home: Email [email protected] with contact updates for family members, emergency contacts, and changes to approved pick-ups.
    • Student > Medical: Review current medical information and submit any changes, including updated immunizations or notarized Conscientious Objection, to [email protected]. This information is required for all students entering Kindergarten, 7th, and 12th grade, as well as all new students. Students without current data may be restricted from attending classes.
    • Student > Schedules: Available for grades 5-12
    • Family > Financials: Add sufficient funds to your Cafeteria PrePay Account to purchase school lunch/milk.
    • Student > Lunch: Access monthly lunch menus as available
  • Review School > Resource Documents:

    • Activity Registration | Grades 5-12 
      •  High school sports practices begin August 17, 2026
      • Middle school sports practices begin August 26, 2026
    • Visitor Self-Registration: Complete Visitor Self-Registration before your first daytime visit to Legacy. Registration is reset annually and includes scanning your state-issued ID and taking a new photo. Assistance will also be available during Open House nights.

  • Grades 9-12: Verify that your student has a laptop for technology needs at school that meets the minimum requirements for compatibility with our network.

Technology Requirements

  • Complete additional forms
    • PreK forms and additional health forms
    • Sports Qualifying Physical Exam Note: Athletes registering for Fall, Winter, and Spring athletics must have a current Sports Qualifying Physical Exam (SQPE) on file to be eligible for athletic participation at the high school level. Physicals are good for 3 years from the date of your last exam. Uploading a digital copy of the form is required during the registration process.
  • Plan for Open House nights I High School: Thursday, August 20 I PreK, Elementary & Middle School: Monday, August 24
    • Grades PreK-4 Sign up to meet with your teacher (Teacher assignments will be announced in August)

School Pictures

This year our School Picture Day is scheduled for Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1. Class picture day is Friday, September 11.

Picture Day with Slow Road Photo is a little different, in all the best ways! Get ready for the BEST PICTURE DAY EVER! With Slow Road Photo, there is NO PRE-ORDERING! Because they deliver multiple poses, your family will have the opportunity to see your photos before you even place an order. Families will each receive a unique link to their student’s gallery via email on the contracted gallery release date on September 24.

Technology Requirements

All students in grades 9-12 will receive a locker this year.

Student drivers are required to park in the Student Parking Lot and enter at Door 13. The only exception to this is the Day 1 Celebration. If you are a student driver, the Required Student Driver Permit form needs to be completed in your FACTS Family Portal under Web Forms to receive your parking permit, or head to the Legacy App and click Forms.

Drop Off & Pick Up Map + Car Pick Up Window Sign

With the exception of Day One Celebration drop-offs, we ask families to follow these guidelines for drop-off and pick-up to create a smooth and safe experience for everyone. Due to construction, drop-off and pick-up routes may change throughout the year. Watch eNews for updates.

Morning Drop Off:

PreK-12 grade parents can choose the most convenient drop off location for your student and follow the appropriate route.

Student Drivers

Student drivers are only allowed to park in the designated Student Parking Lot on the west side.

No student parking is allowed in the East Parking Lot or small west lots except for the Day One Celebration.

Afternoon Pick Up

Families with last names starting with A-K will pick up and exit from the East Parking Lot.

Families with last names starting with L-Z will pick up and exit from the West Parking Lot.

Please have this family pick-up sign visible in the front passenger window.

Bus Transportation

Provided by Anoka-Hennepin School District #11 free of charge for district residents.

Begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Bus route details are sent from the district directly to the families at the end of August.
