Spring Production

Springtime [at Legacy Christian Academy] is musical theatre time! Our dedicated community of students, parents, staff, and volunteers comes together each spring to weave together their gifts and talents into a musical theatre experience that delights audiences of all ages! With past productions including; Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, The Sound of Music, Les Misérables, My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly, Little Women, and most recently Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang!

Legacy Theatre continues to raise the bar each year on the caliber of high school theatre here in Andover and across the northern Twin Cities metro! God’s hand of blessing and favor is evident in each production through the support of our LCA community and the generosity of countless others committed to honoring him through each and every performance!

Godspell - Spring 2023

Godspell is an incredible and powerful retelling of the Gospel of Matthew. Set in modern-day New York City, the musical follows a group of young men and women who hear the preaching of John the Baptist, forsake their jobs, and take up the mantle of Jesus Christ. Through song and dance, the disciples spread the message of Christ’s love throughout the city before His betrayal and crucifixion. Jesus’ message of kindness, sacrifice, and love come vibrantly to life in this unique performance where both the players and the audience experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

NOTE: This show is not recommended for ages 12 and under due to the graphic nature of the crucifixion.
