We Believe the entire Bible to be the fully inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We Believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God, His personal return in power and glory.

We Believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that we are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved.

We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – the saved to the resurrection of life, and the lost to the resurrection of condemnation

We Believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We Believe the doctrines lived out from our Statement of Faith exhibit themselves in the following ways relating to how we live and interpret different social issues and life:

We Believe that all humans are created in the image of God and therefore every individual is highly valuable. As a result, God expects all people to be treated with respect and honor. In a world that seeks to divide us over issues of race, gender, and other issues, we are called to love and encourage one another as we strive for unity (Mark 12:29-31; I John 4:19-20; Ephesians 4:1-3). Our unity is in Christ; this means that all bullying and racism whether it is physical, verbal, cyber, written, or relational is sin.

We Believe that God created humankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman), sexually different but with equal personal dignity, and that the distinction in their roles is part of the God ordained order. We believe in the dignity of individual persons affirming their biological gender (sex) and discouraging any and all attempts to physically change, alter, or disagree with their predominant biological gender (sex), including but not limited to sex-reassignment, transvestite, transgender, or gender identity disorder and related conduct. (Genesis 1:26–28; Romans 1:26–32; 1 Corinthians 6:9–11).

We Believe that life is a gift from God and is precious.

We Believe that life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-16; Isaiah 44:2a; Isaiah 49:5a) and each person’s days are numbered by God (Psalm 139:16; James 4:13-15).

We Believe that biblical marriage is limited to a single, exclusive covenant relationship between one man and one woman. (Genesis 1:27–28; 2:21–24, Matthew 19:4–9; Mark 10:5–9; Ephesians 5:22–33). We reject any definition of marriage other than as stated in Scripture, whether such redefinition is issued by any political, judicial, administrative, and/or public or private agency.

We Believe that the Bible condemns any form of sexual immorality and that Christians must adhere to and practice biblical standards of morality. Moral misconduct includes, but is not necessarily limited to, promiscuity, homosexuality and/or sexual orientation, bisexuality, polygamy, transgender identity, or any violation of the unique roles of male and female. (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:7–23; 20:10–21; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27–28; 15:19; Romans 1:21-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-20).

We Believe that Legacy Christian Academy represents Jesus Christ throughout the evangelical Christian community. To preserve its function and integrity, Legacy Christian Academy employees must be born-again Christians who live their lives as Christian role models (Romans 10:9-10; I Timothy 4:12). They will maintain a lifestyle based on biblical standards of moral conduct and live in a way that will not raise questions regarding their Christian testimonies.
