The longer the Safe At Home order is active, the more obvious it is that we need to stay connected with others and connected to God. Legacy is committed to supporting our community through prayer and biblical guidance. That commitment is NOT limited to our students. We want all of our community to stay strong and consistently grow in their faith.

Two parent groups, Moms Who Pray and Dads Who Pray, have always and continue to, lead the prayer initiative for our greater community. Traditionally these groups meet in-person to pray together over the needs of our school, our students, our leaders and families. In these times of deeply needed prayer, we wanted to make sure that our community was aware of the opportunity to send in prayer requests at any time to these two groups.

  • Moms Who Pray is currently meeting via Zoom on Thursday mornings at 9am.
  • Dads Who Pray has a Zoom Meeting scheduled for April 25th.

All Legacy parents are encouraged to pray for our community either on their own or by joining one of these groups. Confidentiality is always of highest importance to these groups and continues to be a requirement of anyone joining their meetings.

If you are in need of prayer, prayer requests can be submitted via email (listed above) to either of the groups or through a newly added online Prayer Request form on the Legacy in Prayer page. As always, administrators also welcome your prayer requests and will share with these prayer groups, as permitted, when they receive them.

In addition, Mr. Tom Keefe has been creating a Bible Reading plan for our community to read through together. The details are shared each week through email, social media and here on this dedicated page. We hope you find these resources helpful during this time and beyond.
