On Friday, April 10, nearly 650 Legacy parents, grandparents, alumni, staff, and supporters registered to join us for a powerful night of community, celebration, and vision.
It was a meaningful time to pause and reflect on God’s faithfulness to Legacy, and to look ahead with expectation toward what He is calling us into next.
Celebrating God’s Faithfulness and Strategic Accomplishments
During the evening, we looked back at what God has accomplished through our Courageous Faith strategic plan.
Fifteen years ago, Legacy was just weeks away from closing its doors. Today, by God’s grace, we are a thriving school of over 900 students, the largest evangelical Christian school in Minnesota, financially stable, academically strong, and deeply committed to our mission of equipping the mind and discipling the heart of each student for Christ-like living.
Over the past five years, God has done more than we could have asked or imagined:
- A strengthened discipleship model impacting the head, heart, and habits of students
- Expanded academic programs, student support, and leadership opportunities
- Growth in enrollment, staffing, and student experiences
- Significant campus development, including over 40,000 square feet of new and renovated space, along with the purchase of Meadow Creek Church

Looking Ahead
We then turned our focus to the future as Legacy’s new five-year strategic plan was introduced.
Strategic Plan 2026–2031
Rooted: Known. Discipled. Prepared.
Rooted in Christ and with a desire for every student to be firmly rooted for the journey ahead, this plan is about going deeper, ensuring every student is:
- Known personally
- Discipled intentionally
- Prepared for a life of purpose and impact
In a world where everything is rapidly changing, we believe what matters most is not just what students know, but who they become.

Strategic Priorities
This vision will be carried forward through five key strategic initiatives:
- Deepen Spiritual Formation
- Strengthen Student Preparedness
- Cultivate a Connected Legacy Community
- Invest in People: Advancing Leadership and Mission Capacity
- Establish Our Permanent Home: Master Site Plan and Phased Expansion
Investing in the Future: Phase 1 of Our Master Site Plan
A major highlight of the evening was the unveiling of our Master Site Plan and the launch of Phase 1 (Summer 2026), which includes:
- Remodeling the theater into five new classrooms to enhance student learning experiences
- Initial development of the new varsity baseball and softball fields
This phase is not about increasing enrollment; it is about elevating the experience for the students God has already entrusted to us.
A Remarkable Night of Generosity

To move Phase 1 forward, we had a goal to raise the last $400,000 of the $1 million need.
By God’s provision and the extraordinary generosity of our community, $643,782 was given on Friday night through one-time and planned gifts that will continue to support our students throughout the year.
We are humbled. We are grateful. With our deepest sincerity, we want to say thank you.
Legacy has always been more than a school. It is a community of people stepping out in faith together, trusting God to do what only He can do in the transformation of our students.
There Is Still an Opportunity to Participate
If you were not able to give at the Gala, there is still time to be part of what God is doing.
Every gift:
- Enhances and moves Phase 1 of the Master Site Plan forward
- Strengthens our long-term financial position
- Directly impacts the experience and formation of our students
