On October 15th, 300 people gathered to hear that the Legacy community has already given or committed $3,955,335.25 to The Legacy Campaign!

The Legacy Campaign will allow us to build a new education wing ($5 million) and school front entrance ($2 million). Please watch this video to see the vision and 3D pictures of what the new space will look like.

We are asking each member of our community to prayerfully consider giving a three-year commitment to this campaign by November 9. Based on construction timing, we would need to raise another $1 million before November 9 to break ground spring of 2019.

We have a generous family that is willing to increase their commitment to $500,000 if the rest of the Legacy community commits to $750,000 by November 9!

Legacy is committed to building this expansion debt free so the building does not drive up the cost of tuition.

If another $1 million is committed by November 9, we will break ground this spring on the education wing. If another $3 million is raised, then we will break ground on both the education wing and the new front entrance.

If you were not able to attend last night’s meeting, a packet has been sent home which includes the Legacy Campaign brochure, the Prayer Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and the Commitment Card. A webpage dedicated to this campaign will also be posted soon.

There will be two question and answer nights that you are invited to attend at the school:

Monday, October 29 and Thursday, November 1 at 7:00 pm.

Please mail your commitment cards to Legacy or turn them into the school office, Jake Mulvihill, or Sue Happ. When you turn your card in, we have a limited edition print that our principal Dr. Lohse and our art teachers Andy Anderson and Jayme Buchelt created that we would like to give you as a thank you.

Looking forward to how the Lord will work in our community over the next month,

Jake
